How can I create a metric that will alarm if the memory usage of an instance exceeds 90% for JBoss processes?

I am interested in receiving an alert when the instances running on JBoss exceed 90% memory usage. How can I do this? And what metrics are included in the use of the JBoss Enterprise Application Platform extension?

Hi @juanrergis

Simply through the Classic or latest UI, select the metric of your interest and switch it in advanced mode and customize the entity selector expression to achieve the highlighted requirement and then you can metric event.

For example through data explorer, filter by plugins and software technologies:

The same applies for advanced mode

Hi @juanrergis

You have another option through the monitored host itself

Then you will specify the metric event parameters upon which you will receive alerts.

I would do it using a metric event, where you directly attach the metric to the specific host/proces/procesgroup.
