Installing OneAgent on a linux host which is already being monitored

What happens if i try to install agent on a linux host which is already being monitored. Does it reinstall agent? or the installation process terminates in- between as agent is already installed.

i want agent to be installed using a script and also want that script to check before installation if its already installed or not. Will implement same only if your script doesn't have that check ?

If you run the installer on a host where OneAgent is already installed and/or running, it is treated as an update. So the existing version is uninstalled and installed again - even if the versions are the same.
