Licencing Cost & Carbon

Hi all!

Our client doesn't have DPS licensing; they're still using the classic HostUnits mode.

Does anyone know how to license it and how to calculate the cost of using the Cost & Carbon application?

Hi,

Licensing will be based on DDU (Davis Data Units) in the classic licensing model. You need to verify how many metrics and metric dimensions are generated by the extension and then calculate DDU consumption using the formulas available here: https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/manage/monitoring-consumption-classic/davis-data-units

It's DDUs as @radek_jasinski has already answered, but afaik Carbon & cost optimization app uses bizevents only and not metrics.
