Hi everyone!
I noticed that the Active Sessions count in a Mobile App dashboard, showing different values from number of Live Session in USQL. Both have same timeframe filter and is being loaded very close to each other.
What's more intriguing is the value of Active Sessions would change when timeframe filter is changed.

In my impression, the active sessions should stay the same for the application regardless of my timeframe filter.
Appreciate some enlightenment.

hello @mengsuan_koe1 ,
if the user is live , this not by necessary mean he is active , cause may be he open app but not click or touch any thing so the number of "live user" sessions should be greater than the number of "active user" sessions
for more clarification you can visit the following document link : https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/user-session#live-vs-active-users
also there are limitation in USQL that , Only closed user sessions can be queried. Live user sessions aren't taken into account. https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/usql-info#limitations
Best Of Luck

Hi @mengsuan_koe1
The data comparation that you show, combines two differents concepts : Live and Active Sessions
In the documentation can find the detail : https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/user-session#live-vs-active-users
I think is important to know more information about USQL too : https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/usql-info#limitations , specialy this
I hope its helpful 💪
