Manual Tag persistence

I was wondering what the persistence of a tag is. If, for instance, a topology Entity (Host, Process, Service or Application) dies and gets restarted does the EntityId in the API change? If there are any manual tags on that Entity would they be lost ?

The entity and configuration is persistent according to an identifier. So as long as you do not recreate a VM with different parameter it will always reappear as the same host with tags still attached to it.
