No metric found for total number of process connection.

Dear Team,

In Dynatrace SaaS, Is there any built in metrics for total number of process connection.

Please suggest any guidance to monitor number of connection in Process group instance.

• Search with "connection" you will find the relevant metric for the visualization and alerting accordingly.
• On the host level check the process && network metrics and then create a metric event.

Hi,

Here is information on process connections. You can get TCP connections using this doc.

Goto the host and click on analyze process connections.

You will see something like this. Also similar connections will be in smartscape.

For using it as a metric, you can use the network metrics split by process or technology specific metrics are there that you can use for number of connections for example. Thank you.
