Ping, port checks, and DNS lookups

Dynatrace has announced the ability to do ping, port checks, and DNS lookups:

It uses Activegate Extensions, but is positioned as synthetic monitoring.

Does anyone know if it consumes DDUs or DEMs?

Hi Antonio,
