Question about attribute of "Host resource attributes conditions" in Settings Classic/Anomaly Detection/Disk Edge

Hi all,

Under Settings Classic/Anomaly Detection/Disk Edge, it's able to set threshold for disk capacity alert. And for "Host resource attributes conditions" session, for my understanding, we can limit the scope, for which hosts apply to this rule.

My question is: is the condition under "Host resource attributes conditions" must from "customHostMetadata"? Could it be from the properties of a host? For instance, set  "Host Group matches $eq(production)".

Hi,

It is defined here. They are talking about that metadata.

Yes, I know there and have read it.

But my concern is if we can set any property, like "Host Group" or "Management zones", at "Host resource attributes conditions"? Rather than items in "customHostMetadata".

For example, I have a host named "cndc-k8workers04.byinc.cn" and it's dynatrace host group is "cndc-k8s-stage".

Below is one of my Disk Edge settings, I want Dynatrace casts an event when disk capacity above 80% and this event is only suitable to host in the group which group name contains "cndc".

However, it doesn't work.

Hi,

I think you can configure Disk Edge in host group level instead of tenant level.
