Segments not working with VMware Extension

We are using the VMware extension to collect information about the vCenters, Hosts and datacenters.

The related entity from the extension starts with 'dt.entity.vmware'.

We have multiple teams managing the different vCenters and their host. To ensure the separate view for this information, we are trying to create segments and the preview shows the correct entity in segments. On the dashboard, when the segments are selected, the filter does not work and gives no data.

Does the segments work with the VMware entities?

Thanks @radek_jasinski @for your reply.

Is management zone the only option at this moment?

When I try to create a segment the filtering works bit when using it in dashboard, it does not give the expected result. And I have preference to use new dashboard with segments instead of management zone.

Did some further testing and now the segments work giving the right number of the different entity like the vcenter, datacenter, host, virtualmachine, etc.

But the related entity in the segments and also the metrics related to the host are not still working.

Seems there has been some changes which made the segments work in the "VMware Extension Overview" owned by 'VMware (remote monitoring)' partially.
