Service naming for play framework application (Scala, Akka)

I can't change service name of play application although it is configured by environment variable DT_APPLICATIONID. Even more importantly, the ProcessGroup will not be detected if DT_APPLICATIONID is set.

I need a way to specify service name for play app (with scala and akka).

If you click into the service and select Edit you should have the ability to change the name of the service. also in Settings>Server-Side Service Monitoring>Service Naming Rules, you will be able to create a new rule to rename services as you see fit.
