Service renaming and merging

I have renamed some of our pool services accordingly, but they're not merging with existing services of the same name. Checked if they're under the same process group and they are. Have checked settings too for name detection rules.

The only thing I can see is the old pool services and the newly-renamed ones have different settings (one is set to default whereas the other has the failure detection enabled in its settings).

Can anyone help?

Naming rules won’t merge services. Could you please share the details or screenshots of the configuration, along with the affected services and the process group (if possible)? You may need to create Full Web Request / service rules under Service detection.
