Service renaming needed or not?

Hi Folks,

I have recently onboarded one agents on some of our application servers.

I observed, few services with name

RMI requests on WebLogic abcd1_domain abcd1_as

Requests executed in background threads of WebLogic abcd1_domain abcd1_cluster

Do we need write any service naming rule to rename those services or this is how people keep it?

What is the standard practice here. Please provide some suggestions.

It all depends on the requirements. I would like to go with the renaming to make the services' name concise, readable, and understandable.

I also think, making them in readable format will make a sense.

Better to write a naming rule for such services.
