Hi,

You can read Get started with network zones. This is in general, no matter which SO you are using.

Thank you, but I dont this will help

my main concern is how to configure the Solaris one Agent to point to the specific ActiveGate, as connectivity to the Dynatrace Cluster is not available

Hi,

  1. Create a network zone.
  2. Assign one or more ActiveGates to network zone.
  3. Configure OneAgent to network zone.

It would try to send information to ActiveGate in same network zone. Of course, you need communication opened from OneAgent to ActiveGate.

You have different examples in documentation.

Hi,
Solaris OneAgent doesn’t provide the same level of installation options as Linux/Windows (it’s a ZIP/preload deployment), so there’s no simple parameter like “point to this ActiveGate”.

To route traffic via ActiveGate, you need to use network zones.

You need to do exactly what @AntonPineiro  described:
Create a network zone --> Assign one or more ActiveGates to the network zone --> Configure OneAgent to the network zone.

When OneAgent is in the same network zone, it will automatically select the appropriate ActiveGate.

The key is to ensure connectivity from Solaris → ActiveGate.
