In my Management zone I have 98-100 hosts. I have tagged my hosts based on the instance, Say QA1, QA2, UAT, Preprod etc..
Now I would like to tag all the services from the host to have a similar tag so that I can filter based on service tag .
Please advise

Hi,
Best way is creating automatic tag rules and enabling this flag:

Hi,
It is weird, if I am not wrong, this is available in SaaS and Managed.
Can you try to create an automatic tag? Those options should be available.
Best regards

Our setup in the organization is a managed service and all lines of business will be able to view and get impacted by the automatic taging hence it is disabled. Is there any other feasible way for me to dashboard services from a select set of hosts.
A DQL query which can give me the list of all services originating from these hosts and if there is problem in that set.

Hi Usha,
When you have created the tagging based on instance, there itself you can add the service tagging rule. For example say you have created the tag name called QA1 and in the condition field you would've used some condition to separate QA1 hosts. There you create another Rule and select "Rule applies to : Services" and in the condition field select the host tags --tag key equals--tag QA1. This should work perfectly. Let me know if you need more clarification.
