Using OneAgent as an OTel generator

Hello All,

I think the answer will be, not possible. But is there a switch to make oneAgent generate OTel traces instead of the Dynatrace PP.

(sometimes there is an intermediate system that can use OTel but not PP)

Afraid not. You always need to generate your own Otel traces via an instrumenatation library, Otel auto instrumentation, etc.. One Agent can ingest these traces, but it can't generate them. (https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/extend-dynatrace/opentelemetry/getting-started/traces/oneagent)
