Hi,
I understand that we can monitor applications at the code level only when we enable "deep monitoring" of process groups.
Then, what can we monitor when we disable deep monitoring of process groups?
(Or what cannot we monitor?)

Disabling deep monitoring of processes will still get you infrastructure metrics, like CPU, Memory, etc. but you will not get any of the deep dive into services. On the process level, you will not have log monitoring without deep monitoring is enabled.
Hope this helps,
Hayden

Thank you for your comment!
I understand that we can monitor only infrastructure metrics by disabling deepmonitoring.
Thanks for your help.

If a oneagent is running in full stack mode, but not deep-monitoring processes, is that equivalent to a infra mode operation or do we get additional metrics/insights even with deep monitoring turned off ?

You can also use Synthetic or Real user monitoring for web applications, web sites or native mobile applications without "server side" code level monitoring. Or if it is not a web application, you can soon use our real user monitoring (RUM) OpenKit API for bringing real user monitoring to non HTML or native mobile applications. The RUM OpenKit API is currently in early access.

Thank you for your comment!
So you mean, is it possible to use RUM without deep monitoring?
Or if it is not a web application, you can soon use our real user monitoring (RUM) OpenKit API for bringing real user monitoring to non HTML or native mobile applications.
Thanks for new information!
I'm interested in UEM for non HTML/native mobile applications.
I'll try do that after the release.
