Why Management Zone shows ALL applications

abnerlusung

Hi all,

I'm new with the Management Zone permissions.

I created a management zone with rule to lookup the Web Application entity equally "SimpleWeb".

But when I go to Digital Experience -> Web -> All Applications displayed.

Why?

Regards,

Abner

@abnerlusung

To filter out by a specific Management Zone (MZ), you go to the filter in the top right of the UI, and select the corresponding MZ.

If you want users only seeing that MZ, you will have to create a group and give appropriate permissions.

Hi @AntonioSousa ,

Why use Management Zones if I can still see all Web Applications?

I thought, when using MZ, I can limit the Web Applications.

Also, can you share more about the User Groups to manage this requirement?

Thank you!
Abner

Hi,

You can go to "Group management" and create only a group to that specific management zone. Later, you can assign users to that group, and they will be able only to see that management zone.

Hi,

I did the same steps but appeared incorrect, showing two web apps.

I have Environment A with two Web Apps.

Then I have a Management Zone A with 1 Web App.

I created a User Group with access to Environment A with access to Management Zone A.

Why I still see the two web apps?

Abner

Hi,

Could you please provide some screenshots? Maybe it could be useful.

If you see two apps, then, you are not filtering by management zone, or, two apps are in the management zone. No more options.

Best regards

Hello,

Already fix my issue.

My User Group should not have VIEWER rights for the environment.

After removing every checks from the environment. I'm able to work on my single Web Application.

Thank you,

Abner
