Has anyone attempted to monitor Zoom performance in some shape or form with DT ?  If you have attempted it in some shape or form would be good to know your feedback.

Kind regards

Rob

Hi. I dont have an answer on Zoom - but - I wanted to share that this is definitely a great and valid use case. For MS Teams this was done by one of our partners. Here a video were we show how they observe MS Teams Calls ==> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjhaN0NMu4c

Hi @RobDring,

I wanted to share an update: the Zoom Workplace extension is now available on Dynatrace Hub, and I’m part of the team developing it.

The extension polls the Zoom REST API v2 from an ActiveGate and provides visibility into:

  1. Meetings and participants: Live meetings, participant details, and average meeting duration.
  2. Participant QoS and client performance: Per-participant audio/video metrics, including bitrate, latency, jitter, and packet loss, along with Zoom client CPU usage.
  3. Devices and licensing: Zoom Room and Zoom Phone device health, as well as license and seat inventory.
  4. Observability and alerting: Smartscape topology, four dashboards, and seven alert templates.

Prerequisites: You’ll need a Zoom Pro, Business, or Enterprise account and a Server-to-Server OAuth app. The documentation includes the exact OAuth scopes required.

If you have any questions, feedback, or run into any issues during setup, please feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to help!
