incoming and outgoing traffic in network devices showing same

is it possible incoming and outgoing traffic should be same for generic network devices. As per the client the incoming and outgoing traffic should not be same but its showing same value in Dynatrace. This is the concern of the client. For your reference please find the attached picture details.

Do incoming and outgoing metrics also match when examining the metrics outside via DQL or Metric Explorer? If yes, then something is wrong with the instrumentation/extension. If not, then something is wrong with the view you shared in your screenshot. If it's a built-in view, then it would be considered a potential UI bug. Unless it's just the view you shared, this likely requires assistance from Support.

I've tried several SNMP metrics that come from the "generic network devices" extension, but they don't replicate what you show in the image, even though they also include incoming and outgoing metrics.

I suggest you be more precise in your image, indicating the Metric Selector you're using there (Metrica).
