We are excited to share that Dynatrace Activegate has achieved certification for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 10.x distributions. This milestone reflects our ongoing partnership with Red Hat (one of our technology alliance partners), and our dedication to delivering top-notch solutions to effortlessly integrate with leading enterprise platforms.

What's New in RHEL 10

RHEL 10 introduces several significant enhancements aimed at improving security, performance, and cloud integration. For more detailed information, please check out the RHEL 10 release notes.

Here are some key highlights:

RHEL Installer

  • Administrative Privileges: Newly created users will have administrative privileges by default, unless you deselect the option.
  • Time Zone Configuration: You can now set the required time zone using new options instead of the time zone map.
  • Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP): RDP for graphical remote access replaces VNC.

RHEL Image Builder

  • Disk Images: Disk images, such as AWS or KVM, do not have a separate /boot partition.

We are pleased to announce that Dynatrace Activegate version 1.317 fully supports RHEL 10. This ensures that our customers can take advantage of the latest features in RHEL 10 while benefiting from Dynatrace's comprehensive monitoring and observability capabilities.
