Hello,
One question that was raised, about the extra metrics or measurements that will be available (other than those already available by OneAgent) after implementing the dynatrace Cordova plugin into the Mobile Application ?
as we are now in a discussion phase if mobile monitoring will be an added value or not
to our current application that is already monitored by an agent.
so could you please list if there are any additional benefits of this plugin besides those that we can have it by the current installed agent ?
Thank you,

I have not used that plugin but I am interested in what additional data you might get. looking forward to hear from others that may have used it, or what your results are once you use it.

Please elaborate what agents you already have in your application? Does that mean you have the JavaScript Agent running in your web page, but not the Mobile agent?

Yes, the JavaScript agent is already running in our web page and based on the instrumented data we can distribute/filter mobile users as well, so our concern is about the extra value, metrics or measurements the Cordova plugin can add to the current monitoring setup ?

By using the Cordova plugin in combination with OneAgent for iOS and Android you will get native user interactions that you might not see otherwise (if there are any), the app start, information about the mobile device and you will also see crashes that are happening in the application which you might not be aware of at all right now.
The native mobile and the web part of a user session will be merged into on single session. Overall statistics will land in one web and one mobile app in the Dynatrace UI.
