Help to understand - user sessions merging?

If a user logs in from multiple devices simultaneously will the session be merged or can I capture as two different sessions?

So user is logged in and Dynatrace records and tags session successfully, user then logs in from a separate device. How does Dynatrace handle this? During some initial testing I can not see two different sessions or even the user tagging twice, instead I only see the initial page load of the second login.

As you can see in the image Dynatrace detects that the same user is using different devices but the sessions are not merged, you can see in the following image that you can have different sessions for the same user and from the same device or different.
