Beacon endpoint on OneAgent or ActiveGate will only returns 3 response codes: 200, 403 or 429. If there is any other response code, this means the beacon is not being handled by our endpoint. Possibly, something has been misconfigured in your environment. Please check the response body of the beacon request. Usually, it will contain some kind of HTML code, indicating that a webserver handled the request.
Common reasons of the error:
- Not all web servers serving the website are instrumented with OneAgent
- The firewall or proxy is misconfigured and redirects the request incorrectly
