How do I get the SAML trace for troubleshooting?

1. Install the SAML tracer extension for Firefox or Chrome.
2. Have only one browser window and one tab open (to avoid noise as all browser requests are captured).
3. Open SAML tracer – the icon should be on the right from the address bar.
4. Perform the login or logout operation.
5. Click on Export in the SAML tracer window.

Great tip! I also use it a lot, and last week got me out of another tricky situation 🙂

Even better: I'm a Firefox user and was not aware that it existed for Firefox; one of the reasons I was still using Chrome 🤣
