Hi,
What do i need to configure in Dynatrace in order to not send another mail/notification if the same alert/event is active.
For example if I have an alert configured to run a hourly check. When there's a incident which lasts for more hours/days the configured alert will keep sending mail/notification hourly because the alert condition is met. I want to only send it one time.
Additionally, if i want to have a notification sent when the alert starts and another notification when the alert ends. What do I need to configure?

maybe add in a condition where it only applies to problem cards that have a duration of X. You state you want that alert reminder to go our hourly, but you only want one reminder to go out, which might be difficult to do. 
Typically in the alert profile you can set to send a resolved alert when the alert ends, so that wont need to be done via workflows.
