Dynatrace Managed - MS Teams Integration Error

DynaQ
Participant

Hi,

We are getting an error when setting up the MS Teams integration for notifications. Sending a test notification shows back the below error (attached as well)

"Custom Integration test failed (Reason: could not connect to the specified URL)"

The Webhook used has been copied from MS Teams (generated as per documentation). Is the issue related to ports, authentication, others?

Thanks

Hi @DynaQ ,

could be very well because of a firewall issue.

Have tried getting to the webhook from one of the managed nodes ?

You could try this and see if it works

Hi,

We also have plan to enable this features. May we know what firewall/white list is needed to allow?

How these two environment communicate? Dynatrace is Managed (On-prem) while MS teams is on Azure (thru internet).

Thank you

Like @mark_bley mentioned, most likely a firewall issue. You can check the dynatrace server log for more details.

Hi @DynaQ

As simple as possible:

  1. Connectivity issue: validate proper communication is conducted between Dynatrace cluster nodes and the target endpoint, there is no blocking between them for example communication is going through proxy which is not properly configured, validate with network and Firewall teams the seamless traffic between these end points.
  2. Enable the below options

Validate if the Oauth is required or not
