Dynatrace triggers an alert when the process went to unmonitored state

Hello,

Good Day!!!!!

We are receiving process unavailable alerts(As we have enabled availability monitoring ) . However, if the process state changed from offline to unmonitored in Dynatrace we are not receiving any alerts.

Seems like Dynatrace classifying process states as 2 types - unavailable state(shutdown/offline) and unmonitored state. Since process availability got enabled, we are receiving process unavailable alerts if the host is shutdown/process is down/offline.

We are also expecting an alert to be triggered from Dynatrace if the process is in unmonitored state (PFA) .

Is there anyway we can achieve this ?

Regards
Manaswini

@ManaswiniSetti - are you still having this issue? If you have the availability monitoring set up, you should be alerted when the service is no longer running no matter what the reason unless there was a Maintenance Window that is applied during the time frame
