Enable maintenance window globally on a server

How to enable maintenance window globally on a server (we have host, DB , IDRAC, process group monitoring)

Normally, if any server is under maintenance we are enabling the maintenance on each entity related to server.

Example:- a physical DB server is required to enable the  maintenance window. 

                   First we enabling the maintenance window on host entity

                   second we are enabling the  maintenance window on DB entity 

                   third we are enabling the  maintenance window on IDRAC entity

                   fourth we are enabling the  maintenance window on Process group entity

Note:- as mentioned in the above example we are enabling the maintenance window for full server by giving the 4 entries but can't we enable the maintenance window with the single entry.

Hmmm...

One workaround you could use is tagging all underlying instances like DB entity, process group and IDRAC entity with the host name and then use the filter based on that entity tag.
