So basically I want to get the current metric value when the static threshold is exceed in a custom metric event, in the body of the email alert. Ik there are placeholders that we can use but I wasn't able to find anything for the current value. Can someone please help out?

I suggest preparing a Metric Event and defining an alert profile based on it. You should then get the value of the metric at the time of saturation.

That is precisely what I did, but I'm unable to get the metric value in the email. The event template description is the one we get in mail, but I'm unable to find a placeholder for value in it.

Hello @aades_kanna

Can you use {severity} in metric event.

Cheers!
