Metric Events Questions

Few questions here, keep in mind, Ive just started diving into Dynatrace today:

1. My Anomoly Detection, Metric Event only produces 3 Problem Alerts then goes dark despite the issue remaining unresolved. What do I need to change in order for this to produce Problem alerts until the issue is actually resolved? I've flipped the Auto Merge feature off for this event but it still doesnt produce Problems. 

2. Is there a way for me to have the Metric Event to IGNORE a time of day? For example: If I know we will have performance degradation at 2AM, everyday, Id like to ignore all potential problems from 12AM-8AM from this Metric Event.

• I think you should adjust the violating samples in the sliding window for Metric Event. You can find more information here: https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/metric-events#sliding-window

• You can try to set Maintenance Window for entities where you have this metric.
