Hi Community,
I have a Kubernetes cluster being monitored using Dynatrace. On that, I need to enable notification alerting when a Pod or Node auto scales. Can It be done through any custom events for alerting?
As I checked on the below link for built-in metrics. I couldn't find a metric to achieve the requirement to monitor event for Pod or Node autoscaling.
Appreciate it if you guys can shed some light on how I can achieve this.
Thanks in Advance

Hi LNarayanan,
You should be able to utilize the Kubernetes events and Dynatrace Log Analytics to create custom metrics for alerting. Here is the documentation on how to get started https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/monitor-events-kubernetes and setup custom events for alerting based on the metrics you created in the previous step. https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/metric-events-for-alerting.
