As far as I know, there is not a direct metric or indicator as to if a process is in a 'hung' state. However, any metric that Dynatrace captures for a process can be alerted on - so if there is a metric that can be used as an indicator for if a process is in a 'hung' state (exhausted memory, cpu, I/O metrics...) then you can configure a custom event for alerting to catch this. This can be done within the 'Custom events for alerting' page within Anomaly Detection settings:
