AWS Quickstart - Dynatrace Managed Cluster on AWS

In the AWS Quickstart for DT-Managed deploy (https://aws.amazon.com/quickstart/architecture/dynatrace-managed-cluster/), there is no ActiveGates configured. My understanding was that ActiveGates are mandatory components when we use DT-Managed (especially with RUM and Mobile RUM).

Can somebody confirm?

In that case I can still start with the quick start and enhance it to include an ActiveGate cluster

That is true. Current version of Quickstart does not include Cluster ActiveGate. You can install that of course on your own. Cluster AG is mandatory for public DEM monitoring -> Synthethic monitors and RUM (incl. mobile).
