My org doesn't allow the use of kubernetes, but I would like to have an Activegate in a Fargate. Is it even remotely possible? This could really help push the adoption of Dynatrace in AWS apps.

Hi @JH_ ,
To clarify your question, are you looking to deploy a OneAgent in your AWS Fargate? This is possible via this documentation here through a variety of instrumentations:
More information on that can be done here:
https://www.dynatrace.com/hub/detail/aws-fargate/
In terms of monitoring by using an ActiveGate, this is possible through the use of Extensions:

Sorry, but no. I figure that if a fargate can run whatever I program into it, that it could run an activegate instead of my custom code. Is that a stupid idea? I've read the below statement and thought maybe a fargate could run activegate.
Dynatrace supports running ActiveGate in a container
