while trying to create a azure connection, we have a "communication error" ,
this error should be more detailed.
the connection in a similar system is allready working. so credentials, tenandid etc. are correct.
where can I find the detailed error log?

It's SaaS or managed? If Managed, you can open Server.0.0.log and find details of error that connection issue. If there is SaaS, open support ticket, they have access to this log on their side. They can check it for you.
