Here's what's new in our documentation and components.
We aim to build apps for everyone. Our new Accessibility page covers everything you need to know to build inclusive Dynatrace apps, including keyboard support, screen reader compatibility, color usage, and more.
Meet PageLayout — the next evolution of the Page component. It builds on the same slot-based structure you're familiar with, adding responsive breakpoints, improved panel controls, and React Router integration. A migration guide is included as well to help you get started. It's currently experimental, so now is a good time to try it out and share your feedback!
Starting with @dynatrace/strato-components v3.1+, the TimeframeSelector automatically shows users their recently used timeframes out of the box. It persists the last 10 timeframes per user, and the history is shared across all TimeframeSelector instances — across different apps and even between multiple instances within the same app. No code changes required.
We've launched a new Dynatrace Intelligence section on the Developer Portal. Want to add forecasting to your app? The Forecast with Dynatrace Intelligence guide shows you how to tap into Dynatrace's predictive AI — from discovering analyzers to executing forecasts and rendering results as time series visualizations.
Strato Components 4.0.0 is on the horizon with several breaking changes. Now's the time to review your apps and check if you're using affected features.
Key changes coming:
aria-disabled prop will be removed.AppNavLink and NavItems) will be removed; use AppHeader.Logo and AppHeader.Navigation insteadallowCopy prop replaced with showCopyAction.date column type (use datetime), link option on interactiveRows (use onActiveRowChange), and legacy test mocks.Review the full list of breaking changes to identify if your apps use any of the deprecated features. Where possible, migrations will be provided to help streamline the transition when 4.0.0 releases.
