Let me start with my definitely not-ordinary accomplishment, but personally very important for me. I've had my first solo trip, during which I travelled around northern Kazakhstan. I've talked with locals, tasted local cuisine, met with head of local Polish community, and seen one of the most original and futuristic capital cities I've seen so far - Astana. What a trip!

Being at Death Valley (lowest altitude I've gone), famous for the highest temperature recorded in modern history on this planet. And it was already hot after Perform last year! Also doing my biggest road trip ever, also around Perform, San Francisco→LA→Las Vegas→Death Valley→San Francisco , 2.2KKm
But a great joy comes with what we accomplish daily with Dynatrace! So many smiles & laughs, so much that my daily dose is guaranteed every day before 6 PM !

One of my favorite highlights from 2025 was taking the scenic train journey from Melbourne to Sydney. While most people choose the quick flight, I’ve always loved the rhythm of train travel—the changing landscapes, the quiet stretches of countryside, and the chance to slow down and really enjoy the trip. I even explored a few hidden gems along the way and around both cities, which made the experience unforgettable.
On the professional side, most of my year was spent deep in another monitoring tool, so I didn’t get much hands-on time with Dynatrace. But ending the year back in the Dynatrace ecosystem feels like coming home—I’m passionate about this platform and excited for what’s ahead in 2026!

Hi all,
professionally I have widened my knowledge (5 years and counting) in Observability, mainly planning our migration to Dynatrace SaaS.
Otherwise I am proud to have made good progress in another ongoing venture (11 years and counting...), the renovation of my house. Turned the 60s hallway and staircase into a restored/modern look and am very pleased with it! I do 90% of the work myself 🙂

Hello guys!
I wasn't here at the last time, but let's talk a little bit!
Since I'm young and a starter level at the "Life" game I didn't buy a house yet, but planning to do it in 2026, I get a new old car for my own! I got an amazing new job to work with Dynatrace and @marina_pollehn it'll be my coworker 😅
I'll also get my degree in 2026, and maybe (if everything goes well) adopt a dog in my future new house.
So, to conclude, next year I hope we have this Community Challenge again, so we'll see if get everything I told you guys, cross your fingers 😊
Happy holidays and all the best for us,
Maximiliano Lopes
🎄🎁🎆

That car part sounds interesting, which one is on the radar in the 2026 shopping list? 👀
12 Dec 2025 01:52 PM
It's a good question @Michal_Gebacki !
I love cars since I was a kid, I went to several car events in Brazil, I'll attach a link to some photos of the event so you can understand better, you can see here GALERIA DE FOTOS | Autódromo Internacional de Tarumã
But my next car is probably going to be another old one, but it's my option 😂
I'm thinking in the Honda Civic sedan 1996 with V-TEC and customize a little like body kits and everything like a real JDM.

2025 was a really good year for me, professionally and personally.
I did 2 international travels.
First one to Ecuador, were I spend one week working with my peers from Kyndryl, providing hands on Dynatrace training to one of our clients.
And the other one to USA, my very first time there. I did meet Kyndryl colleagues from all parts of the world for a one week consultancy training.
Of course I had to visit some motorcyle themed museum...
There were domestic flights too, this time to our Kyndryl office in São Paulo (Hortolândia), where I had the pleasure to be one of the speakers in our very first SREday in LA. The subject of my presentation was: "Business Observability with Dynatrace."

Well there have been some achievements in 2025 but in general when I look back at 2025 I think that I'm happy and thankful that me and my family "survived" another year without any health issues or bad events happening.
As we thankfully have a life that does not really lack anything important, health and family wellbeing becomes one of the most important things to strive for.

So long, 2025! Wow, what a year. 🤯
👨💻Work Life: I moved to a new company and flipped the script—going from being a Dynatrace customer to a Partner. Loving the learning curve and helping the team grow in their Dynatrace knowledge!
🎂The Big 5-0: Yep, I hit the half-century mark. To celebrate, I decided to go full lumberjack mode. 🧔♂️ The beard is longer than ever... am I happy? Yes. Is the wife happy? Absolutely not. 😂
🐶Surprise Addition: We found a sweet stray with no chip. We tried fostering, but let’s be real... if no owners step forward, we are definitely keeping this pup.
🔜Next Up: 2026 is going to be massive. The wife has a big birthday coming up, and we hit 25 years of marriage in August! ❤️

I'm a little embarrassed to reveal my age in this community, but I turned 60 this year.
In Japan, turning 60 is called "Kanreki" and is celebrated as a part of Japanese culture. My family celebrated my 60th birthday and gave me a pair of red chopsticks as a gift.

Here is my Dynatrace rewind this year:
I also passed 4 Dynatrace Pro Certifications 🤓
I can't wait to see what Dynatrace has planned for 2026!

Personal highlight: Holding my newborn son in Spring
Professional highlight: I've done numerous demos of Dynatrace to different stakeholders and its amazing to see their reaction to something in Dynatrace and how different those somethings can be. We've also expanded our DT footprint considerably.

For me, 2025 was primarily a year of sharing, with participation in four events where I spoke on stage about observability.
It was also marked by the implementation of many use cases around business events, workflows, log monitoring, dashboards, RUM, and synthetic monitoring.
On a personal level, it meant learning to live with illness and spending more time with loved ones, but I’m confident that 2026 will be a great year.
I wish you lots of success, joy, and good health for 2026.
Regards Aurélien.

Work-wise, I've switched companies whilst staying fully focused on observability. This was challenging and exiting at the same time.
But..my biggest achievement this year was becoming a father to my son. This life-changing moment brought me a deep sense of pride, responsibility, and happiness, even with the many sleepless nights that came (and still are 😉). Welcoming him into the world taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. It also motivated me to grow into a more patient, caring, and resilient person. Despite the exhaustion, becoming a father has changed my life in the most meaningful way and gave me a purpose greater than myself.

I really liked this year. ❤️ There were no big WOWs, but several first times, and, in general, I truly enjoyed the process.
Professionally: First full year at Dynatrace! I graduated with a postgraduate degree in project management and moved into CX courses to deepen my understanding of customer experience. I attended the Community conference in London with @Michal_Gebacki, where we met fantastic and inspiring professionals.
Personally: My family is healthy and happy, and I became an auntie for the second time. I invested more time in friendships that had been fading. I travelled around the country, and I've been to Greece for the first time (yay!). I returned to analogue photography and explored culture events. I started singing and drum classes. We also got a coffee machine that's so good we stopped going out for coffee 😄
I kept up with my summer tradition of kayaking and mountains, and now: thanks to amazing people at Dynatrace, I also hit two personal records: 50km cycling and 32km in an orienteering rally. Sure, the numbers are not impressive, but I'm incredibly grateful that there were people who encouraged me to start 💪🏻

For me, 2025 was strongly focused on growing my Dynatrace services company. It was a year of building, learning, and consolidating our value proposition.
One of the biggest highlights was closing several international support contracts with different businesses across LATAM, which marked an important milestone for us and confirmed that we’re on the right path.
Grateful for the challenges, the trust of our clients, and the opportunities that came with them. Looking forward to what’s next!

For me 2025 was really dynamic and interesting year. A lot has happened in my personal life, I started new projects (yet to be fulfilled in 2026). It was a really good year!
From work perspective it brought me a lot of opportunities and acomplishments! I was able to drive a successful migration from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS which helped me learn a lot more. We did a lot of new integrations. At the end of the year I was able to get my first Dynatrace certification - Associate. Also just before the holidays I got promoted to a Product Owner for observability.
Overall the year was full of challenges, learning and growing. I am thankful for what I was able to achieve and for all the support. Hopefully 2026 will bring even more of the good stuff!

2025 has been a year of new beginnings for me — perhaps the start of a completely new chapter in my life. It has been deeply emotional and transformative.
This year, I began many new activities and made decisions that truly changed my perspective. One of them was discovering Dynatrace for the very first time. After more than 20 years in my previous role as software developer, I consciously chose to look at things from the other side — to step into the role of an Dynatrace Integration Engineer. Just a few months after making that decision, it was an enormous honor for me to receive the recognition “Member of the Month.”
In March, I also took a brave step outside my comfort zone and started rhythmic gymnastics. I dared to perform in front of an audience — and by now, I already have four performances with an amateur ensemble behind me.
Teaching has always been close to my heart, but this year marked another important first: I led an entire programming course on my own. Until now, I had only taught friends individually. Thanks to the acting classes I also started this year, the difference between my first and my last lecture was huge. I have always struggled with severe stage fright, and overcoming it has been a major personal victory.
Music has always been something I loved deeply, even though I never believed I had any sense of rhythm or musical talent. My teacher was persistent, and this year I managed to play part of a Bach piece on piano and sing my first songs — and for the first time, they truly sound good.
Looking back, 2025 has been a year of courage, growth, and rediscovering myself — professionally, creatively, and personally.
