Let me start with my definitely not-ordinary accomplishment, but personally very important for me. I've had my first solo trip, during which I travelled around northern Kazakhstan. I've talked with locals, tasted local cuisine, met with head of local Polish community, and seen one of the most original and futuristic capital cities I've seen so far - Astana. What a trip!

Being at Death Valley (lowest altitude I've gone), famous for the highest temperature recorded in modern history on this planet. And it was already hot after Perform last year! Also doing my biggest road trip ever, also around Perform, San Francisco→LA→Las Vegas→Death Valley→San Francisco , 2.2KKm

But a great joy comes with what we accomplish daily with Dynatrace! So many smiles & laughs, so much that my daily dose is guaranteed every day before 6 PM !

This trip sound unforgettable!
Next time you plan to do, invite me pls 😜

One of my favorite highlights from 2025 was taking the scenic train journey from Melbourne to Sydney. While most people choose the quick flight, I’ve always loved the rhythm of train travel—the changing landscapes, the quiet stretches of countryside, and the chance to slow down and really enjoy the trip. I even explored a few hidden gems along the way and around both cities, which made the experience unforgettable.

On the professional side, most of my year was spent deep in another monitoring tool, so I didn’t get much hands-on time with Dynatrace. But ending the year back in the Dynatrace ecosystem feels like coming home—I’m passionate about this platform and excited for what’s ahead in 2026!

Work-related :

  • had an insane training run and gave Dynatrace basics trainings to 350+ people, advanced training to 114 people and dashboard trainings to 80 people - all on-site with nice hands-on labs.
  • really gave my Technical coaching role which I have since Nov 2024 my own style and twist. Started writing monthly Dynatrace newsletters and also other cool blogposts (Conclusion Xforce Tech Playground) about Dynatrace. Gave a couple "Associate hours" with the focus on one specific topic each to train my colleagues for the Dynatrace Associate. Answered lots of questions and hobbyed around together on my coaching days.
  • work related personal growth. Enforcing some rules for myself and others and sticking to it. Not saying "yes" to everything and sacrificing all my free-time but doing some cherry-picking if it will cost me my free time or saying "no".
  • Was more active on the community again :). And was in touch with some other DynaMights.

Private life- related:

  • went to 9 house viewings and bought a house. The entire financing is settled so we can start 2026 without worries and more preparation coming our way.
  • bought a dog (who is a slightly traumatized rescue and quite the challenge) and making good progress with him
  • not an achievement but maybe a lesson learnt: Realized that not everyone always has good intensions, some people twist the truth if they don't want to be at fault, that people judge quickly and that adult friendships can be very fragile. I had mixed feelings about it in 2025 - especially because I like saying that people are good and being a bit naive about it. But what I can do is speak my truth, ask people for apologies when needed and stick to the people who will listen, also want my best, and whose friendships are truly unconditional. And for those people, it's still worth it to move the world. 🌍

Hi all,

professionally I have widened my knowledge (5 years and counting) in Observability, mainly planning our migration to Dynatrace SaaS.
Otherwise I am proud to have made good progress in another ongoing venture (11 years and counting...), the renovation of my house. Turned the 60s hallway and staircase into a restored/modern look and am very pleased with it! I do 90% of the work myself 🙂

Hello guys!
I wasn't here at the last time, but let's talk a little bit!
Since I'm young and a starter level at the "Life" game I didn't buy a house yet, but planning to do it in 2026, I get a new old car for my own! I got an amazing new job to work with Dynatrace and @marina_pollehn it'll be my coworker 😅
I'll also get my degree in 2026, and maybe (if everything goes well) adopt a dog in my future new house.
So, to conclude, next year I hope we have this Community Challenge again, so we'll see if get everything I told you guys, cross your fingers 😊

Happy holidays and all the best for us,

Maximiliano Lopes

That car part sounds interesting, which one is on the radar in the 2026 shopping list? 👀

It's a good question @Michal_Gebacki !
I love cars since I was a kid, I went to several car events in Brazil, I'll attach a link to some photos of the event so you can understand better, you can see here GALERIA DE FOTOS | Autódromo Internacional de Tarumã

But my next car is probably going to be another old one, but it's my option 😂
I'm thinking in the Honda Civic sedan 1996 with V-TEC and customize a little like body kits and everything like a real JDM.

2025 was a really good year for me, professionally and personally.

I did 2 international travels.

First one to Ecuador, were I spend one week working with my peers from Kyndryl, providing hands on Dynatrace training to one of our clients.

And the other one to USA, my very first time there. I did meet Kyndryl colleagues from all parts of the world for a one week consultancy training.

Of course I had to visit some motorcyle themed museum...

There were domestic flights too, this time to our Kyndryl office in São Paulo (Hortolândia), where I had the pleasure to be one of the speakers in our very first SREday in LA. The subject of my presentation was: "Business Observability with Dynatrace."

A lot of new Dynatrace projects with many customers.

Team is growing from 2 -- 10 -- and now more than 20 guys.

Traveling to many countries ...

Let see what is going on the next years, but it seems that I need some rest.
