congratulating Gary S., the
Dynatrace Employee Member of the Month for July!
Gary is a Consultant in the
EMEA Expert Services team. In his daily work, he has the opportunity to work
with many of Dynatrace customers, prospects, and partners to help them in their
journey to make their software and services work perfectly.
Gary’s primary focus is
recently on Dynatrace. However, he holds certifications in all of Dynatrace
products and has worked over the years with AppMon, DC RUM, and Synthetic
Classic.
If not in the forums, many of you probably got a
chance to meet Gary in person on-site or at one of Dynatrace events. When asked
what motivates him to stay active in the Community, Gary said:
“I contribute to the
Community because as a Consultant in the field, I do not know what situations I
might
be presented with nor do I know what questions might be sent my way. Answering
questions on the community lets me focus questions outside the ordinary from
clients I know well, and allows me to explore different ways in which our
userbase are letting Dynatrace solve their problems.”
Here's what Gary likes best about the Community:
“What
I like best about the community is seeing the satisfaction of when a user’s
answer or RFE has become resolved. I observe some really creative RFE
implementations quickly turned around by the product teams, and some fantastic
solutions to users’ questions. By reading all of them, it gives me an extra
platform to learn about Dynatrace.”
As a Dynatrace power user, Gary has also a little
wish:
„I would like to
see more people getting involved viewing posts, asking questions, submitting
RFE‘s and posting answers. The knowledge is out there and members are
responsive, and there is no need to be afraid to air your questions or comments.”
Outside of work, Gary
likes to travel.
“I
am lucky that working in the Dynatrace Services team I get to see a lot of
places I might not normally have the opportunity to visit. Sometimes I think it
might be a nice place to come back to and explore.“ The following
