Hello Rohit! Shed some light on your life’s journey.

My story is about growing up amidst books and playing computer games. My favorites were mathematics and computers and that made me choose Computer Science Engineering. Completing this I started my IT journey in India and worked for around 7 years. After this, I moved to Singapore and loved living there. Singapore introduced me to playing football as I used to work in a university and play with students in the evening. Since then, I have been a dedicated fan of playing and watching football. Apart from this I still cherish my time in Singapore, the country is truly amazing with its food, culture, infrastructure, and life in general. I moved to Australia 5 years ago and there is no doubt that the people and work culture here are the best.

As a hobby, I explored the world of music and started learning guitar when I started my first job. The process was slow until I could actually strum good music. I like playing acoustic guitar. I have started learning how to play the keyboard nowadays and find it very interesting. I have a passion for soccer, whether playing or watching it. I play sports regularly and like to work on my fitness whether it is gym, hiking, running, sports, etc.

Tell us about your work and what interesting things you’re working on.

I am a part of ACE Services, where an interesting part of my work is having in-depth knowledge of various technologies. The customers' tech landscape varies, and we must keep up the pace of being on top of the market tech. Handling customers, internal stakeholders, and working towards achievable outcomes is the most challenging part of my job. We intend to deliver value, get customer satisfaction, and place Dynatrace in secure hands towards the end of each engagement.

What makes you excited about being a part of the Dynatrace?

Dynatrace wow-ed me when I interviewed for it. I have worked in 4 international companies before Dynatrace, and it is simply the best choice for me in culturewise. Like the product itself, people here are exceptional - talented and passionate. By working here, I feel motivated, dared, respected, and work-life balanced. Looking at my holiday schedules and flexibility of working, some of my friends ask me to refer them 😃.
I personally enjoy working towards the evolution of the product, being a part of the feedback journey, and delivering value to the customers.

What makes Dynatrace Community important to you?

Dynatrace Community is a great way to learn and challenge my tech knowledge and aptitude. I have learned a lot about Dynatrace in the past 3 years and want to share and help the Community get past the challenges. I was once a beginner and got help from my colleagues and forums like this and I can relate with other fellow members. Also, I like the innovative product ideas section of the Community. It is a great propeller of our future growth.

Tell us something about you that most people don’t know. What is your biggest joy or passion in life?

I like learning musical instruments and listening to them. However, what gives me joy is being physically active. My weekly routine is a mix of gym, swimming, football, and sometimes walking with my partner when we get enough time. This gives me a happy face and sound sleep.
