What defines me is the ability to create and build things myself — I’ve always been a creative person.
As a child, I naturally gravitated toward activities where I could imagine, design, and make things on my own.
That mindset stayed with me: I love finding original solutions, showing up where people don’t expect me, and proposing approaches that genuinely help others.
Sharing my experience also matters to me — I’ve always believed that what inspires me can inspire others as well. Passion is the only way I know to move forward.
When I began my engineering studies, the internet was just emerging. At that time, it was impossible to imagine doing the work I do today.
I entered the IT/APM world out of curiosity and because everything was still being invented — the perfect environment for someone who needs creativity to thrive.
What keeps me in this field is the continuous acceleration of innovation. It’s fascinating, and when you add the human connection with clients, it becomes the ideal job.
I work in the Dynatrace France Services team as a Lead Architect.
My role is to support customers in adopting our observability platform and help them get the maximum value from it as they move toward full observability of their information systems — whether through digitalization, AI, or automation.
In this constantly evolving data world, the path to innovation is not always simple. Dynatrace has become an essential compass for our customers, helping them navigate complexity with clarity.
Our customers are very diverse, with very different contexts, challenges, and expectations. Yet one thing unites them: the passion for transforming their data through the lens of observability.
One of the most exciting parts of my work is seeing how far observability can go. For example, with one customer, we implemented business process observability directly on a factory production line. This allowed them to optimize the entire workflow, detect bottlenecks caused by product congestion during defects, and generate business‑level alerts that quickly became essential to their production system.
To stay close to users, I love delivering training — both to experts and beginners. It’s always incredibly insightful: it helps me better understand user expectations and continuously improve how we support them.

What excites me most about working at Dynatrace is the feeling of being exactly where things happen. We’re right at the center of innovation — almost at the eye of the storm. Everything moves fast and across a very wide scope.
What makes the consultant role so special is how rich and flexible it is. You can shape it your own way, follow your passion, and let the job evolve with you.
Being part of Dynatrace means being immersed in innovation, creativity, and continuous discovery — and that’s what keeps me excited every day.
"The Dynatrace Community is an essential collaborative space where three dimensions meet: Customer questions, which bring us as close as possible to real needs, requests from D1 (Services, CSE, CSM,…), which reflect the expectations of actual users, and answers from the Labs, which connect us directly to innovation."
This interaction is extremely enriching for everyone, and it allows the platform to evolve based on real‑world situations and concrete feedback from the field.
What brings me the greatest joy is going sailing with my family.
Every year since our children were born, the four of us have spent time sailing together — whether in the Atlantic, the English Channel, or the Mediterranean.
Recently, we adopted a cat, and we’re planning to take him sailing with us in Brittany.
A new adventure for all of us…
The newcomer cat. Such a beauty!
What I always carry with me is the desire to plan new sailing trips — going farther and for longer periods.
I have many navigation projects in mind, but they require more time… so they’re not for right now.Jean-Louis with the boat, his biggest passion in offline time.
What I’m most proud of is my family.
I’m lucky to have two children — fascinating and passionate — who are now young adults taking off with a lot of talent.
With the family.
Thank you, Jean-Louis, for the creativity, passion, and knowledge you share with the Dynatrace Community. We wish that your next sailing adventures take you even farther, with many memorable journeys alongside your family (and your soon-to-be sea‑loving cat ).
