CloudFoundry - Application Only Monitoring Vs Full Stack Monitoring

We are evaluating on App Only Monitoring for Cloud Foundry against to Full Stack Monitoring using Bosh Add On. Would like to know the benefits of each and when to opt for one over other.

I would also recommended reading the link, it will give you examples of when full-stack monitoring is the preferred approach over application-only monitoring and vice versa. ^.^
