DNS Lookup in Kubernetes

I have found this post: https://www.dynatrace.com/news/blog/monitor-your-whole-infrastructure-using-synthetic-monitors/, but I'm not sure if this can be set up to run for K8s monitoring. Any info on that?

 Hi @arora138,

I do not know that dns lookup extension (type 1.0) in deatails and the configuration possibilities. But technically you can install it on an external Active gate (outside of K8s) and test it.

We are using the 'ActiveGate extension' to monitor all the internal DNS endpoints.
