Hello team,
We currently have some RabbitMQ inside docker container. We would like to monitor them with Dynatrace.
I have seen this link related to out of the box support but i was not able to monitor it.
In the documentation they don't speak about RabbitMQ. Do you support it inside docker ?
So it would mean the oneagent inside the container request port 15672.
Thanks,
Alex
Solved! Go to Solution.
Most plugins does not work unfortunately for containers. As I remember this one does not work as well.

Thanks Sébastien. So sad 😞 I hope it is going to come as more and more "things" are inside container. Dynatrace is leading cloud/containers monitoring but some part are not supported 😞
I know the redis one works with Container (i have already used it)
In general I've heard about plans for extending plugin support inside containers. I can't remember Roadmap and ETA for that.

More than one year and still no support for RabbitMQ monitoring on containers.
Is there any news about monitoring Rabbit in containers?
Hi everyone,
Please check Mike's reply here and/or upvote Yuriy's product idea: https://community.dynatrace.com/t5/Dynatrace-product-ideas/RFE-RabbitMQ-Support-inside-docker-OneAge...
The more interest our Product Management sees in a particular topic, the better chance it will be prioritized higher and implemented sooner.
Regards,
Karolina
The new Prometheus extension for RabbitMQ works fine with containerized RabbitMQ processes: https://www.dynatrace.com/hub/detail/prometheus-rabbitmq/
