About Windows Service availabilty

Hi,

for the first time I had the necessity of using this cool feature 🙂

The config was really easy via Dynatrace Web Ui but I was a little bit confuse about the result.

I understood I could observe the availability via a custom chart with this metric: OS Service availability
but I didn't find any reference on the help page:

More on the subject I read in the blogpost:

 "OneAgent actively checks every 10 seconds for all defined services and sends availability time series data to the Events tab of your host details page"

But I cannot see any availability time series data in host page (while I can in the dashboard).
Is this only my problem or is it something that I'm missing?

@y_buccellato this is very interesting. were you able to get it sorted out?

Truth to be told, no, I haven't. Meaning that the configuration was succesfull and the visualization in dashboard was as described in the Help doc.

But there is still the discrepancy described between the blogpost and the official doc.
My best guess is that this is a work in progress and little by little they will add or change things here an there.

Still a very good job on their part 🙂
