Application Dashboard for Hosts, Services, Databases, Networks etc.

Dear All,

Is there a way to design a dashboard comprising on hosts, services, databases, networks, etc. for a particular application instead of the whole environment?

There are two options. One is splitting enviornment by management zones. Than you can create single dashboard and get results for each application using management zone filter (on top of DT UI). Second is tagging hosts by application. Then you can create single dashbaord where for example each columnt will b focused on particular application. Such filter can be don for each custom chart.

Hi Babar,
Please follow below steps:Goto SETTINGS-> Tags->Click on Automatically applied tags->Click on Creat tag-> Enter tag name(your choice) and then click on Add a new rule->

1. RULE APPLIEST to Process group

2.Seclect condition as process group name and begings with/contails/ equals etc ( as per best sutable common process group tagging)

3. Check on Apply to underlying hosts of matching services

4. Check on Apply to underlying process groups of matching services

5. Click on Preview and check for detailed tags

6. Save changes

In general you should create rules (for example based on host group). Good option for you may be as well adding tags and properties via environment variables:
