Discrepancy Between Grail Dashboard DateTime and Local System DateTime

ash2

Hi Team,

I have encountered a n issue with the Grail dashboard datetime variable; there appears to be a consistent 10+ hours difference with the datetime displayed in my laptop. the variable $dt_time_from and $dt_timeframe_to are not reflecting the correct local time as set on my system. this is resulting in misalignment between data represented in the dashboard and actual local time. Could you please help me with this?

Did you confirmed if you are running the same timezone in Dynatrace as your pc?

I've noticed the same behavior

There is no straightforward way. I have written a custom function to convert this into a required timezone.

Hi @ash2

  • Kindly check if the cluster nodes date & time have the same configurations or not.
  • NTP should be properly configured on all cluster nodes to avoid time discrepancies and Synchronization issues.

Regards,

Peter.
