Monitoring ActiveGate Availability (Without OneAgent) – Metrics & Dashboard Guidance

Hi Team,

We have around 20+ servers where ActiveGate is installed, and we want to monitor whether each ActiveGate is UP or DOWN.

However, these servers do not have OneAgent installed, so we are looking for the right approach and metric to use for this scenario.

Could you please suggest:

• Which metric or service we should use to track ActiveGate availability?
• Best way to build a dashboard/panel for UP/DOWN status?

Any guidance or best practices would be helpful.

Maybe you can check ActiveGate self-monitoring metrics and create some alert base on that.
