Do you know if this option is available in new Dashboard app?
Best regards

Hi @AntonPineiro
At this moment this option is not available. I think is not in roadmap yet.

be great is this can be added. as we progress we are seeing alot of duplication that wouldn't be needed if admins can help manage/minimize dashboards.

Thank you for your feedback! 😎

This will be huge for us as admins to not only help users but to be sure to address any pourly written queries/scopes etc. with costs now associated with them!

Adding on, this would be very helpful for my customers! With dashboards being able to accidentally create huge costs from users, it would be a nice feature to have.

Any ETA on this feature?

Hi, unfortunately, the timeline had to be pushed back for this feature, and we're currently targeting the first quarter of next year for an interactive admin mode.
Since Version 1.301, however, it is possible to transfer individual documents via the document service API. While not as convenient as the planned interactive admin mode, it can be useful for individual hard cases of abandoned documents. More information about the API is in the release notes.

Hi,
Product idea has been raised about this https://community.dynatrace.com/t5/Product-ideas/View-all-Gen3-Dashboards/idc-p/281139#M52831
Best regards

Hey @michael_k , are there any news on upcoming releases this feature will be in? I checked all API options and ownership transfers or shares are only possible if I am the document owner, even if I have every admin policy assigned.
To us this is quite a bottleneck at this point, because as soon as one of my colleagues is sick or on leave I cannot take over the tasks of sharing dashboards with groups or people unless I create a copy and then we will always have multiple versions of the dashboard flying around which is not desirable.
I think ownership by multiple people/accounts or even ownership by a group would also be an interesting feature.

Hi @marina_pollehn please check out https://<environment>/platform/swagger-ui/index.html?urls.primaryName=Document+Service and take a look at the "Admin access" section. Sharing is not available yet, but ownership transfer is there. Does this help?
We had to do some work behind the scenes, so we had to push the interactive document management back, currently aiming for Q3/Q4. Before that, however, we plan to introduce allowing editors to share, which should also improve some of the bottlenecking situations you are experiencing.

Thanks Michael, really need this feature back in place as it's creating issues for our users as well.

That's how we are currently doing it. It does work indeed but it's a rather lengthy process.
Colleague gone but someone needs access --> claim ownership of his dashboard --> share the dashboard with the people who need it --> reassign ownership to my colleague.
Annoying thing is that my colleague will also get emails about that so I tell them to ignore my spam 😉

Good Afternoon, any updates around this?
I know it's a basic function, but as a DT admin, not having access to view (or edit) a dashboard that one of my 2000+ users created and sent out, isn't a good look. For example, one of our support folks built out a dashboard for a new implementation going live this weekend, but that user didn't open the permissions so that everyone can view it and we're getting requests from folks to get access to it.
Egg on our face.

While the ability to view all as admin as been addressed, the edit any hasn't. makes it difficult to help teams/delete outdated dashboards and do "clean up" task in new gen 3 dashboards.

Pain Journey: The New dashboard offers a ton of new power through the utilization of DQL queries against Grail. However it's lacking in several major functionalities that are becoming more and more apparent as our use of the new dashboard grow.
1) Admins lack the ability to see ALL dashboards created in the environment. We can't remove redundant/legacy/inefficient dashboards if we can't see them.
2) Admins lack the ability to edit dashboards. We need the ability to correct inefficient queries, remove sensitive data results, and properly name these so that can be found by the intended audience.
3) Admins lack the ability to tag these to associate them with key functions or applications.
4) An extension of tagging, but we lack the ability to create folders or partitions by tag/application.
Benefit:
Cleanup, visibility, and functionality improvement. Productionalize these dashboards. This would help us move from the "classic dashboard" functionality to the "new" dashboard functionality and increase our utilization of DQL. At some point we want to reduce our reliance on splunk and having the ability to build out and showcase easily organized dashboards is a key component of that.
Solution Journey:
A fully functional dashboard with these admin and organizational functionalities would allow us at the Dynatrace admins to properly categorize, update, and make the dashboard functionality much more efficient. Allowing us to easily share data across teams and different organizations. This would help drive more users to the functionality as well.
