Variable on timeseries aggregation in Dashboard

Hello great Community of Dynatrace!

I'm trying to achieve this goal and wonder if it is possible at all.

I want to create a selectable variable from new dashboard drop down menù.
The variable will allow only one selection at the time, for values such as: avg,min,max.

Base on this selection the metric in the dashboard will aggregate accordingly:

I'm receiving multiple error when i try to replace the variable just right before the name of the metric.
I have also tried other strategies so I'm wondering if this is feasible at all.

I have tested with :noquote for variable replacement and it works :

[y_buccellato]

Great it worked! 😄 Thank you very much.
Fun fact I even went in the docu an read that :no_quote existed but I didn't realized how I could use it!
